ABOUT ME

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Film, Theatre and Television from UCLA, and my Masters of Arts in Education (with an Emphasis in English Literature) from Loyola Marymount University. I spent the first part of my career as an educator, teaching acting for stage and screen, playwriting, screenwriting, film studies, humanities, and vocal music, among other Fine Arts related subjects.

I’ve spent the latter part of my career (18 years) as Head of Story Development for the Story Company, a production company owned by director Tim Story. I’ve worked closely with Tim to develop stories from pre-production concept through to post-production editing and release. Our various film projects together include “Barbershop,” “Taxi,” Fantastic Four,” “Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer,” “Think Like A Man,” “Ride Along,” “Think Like A Man Too,” “Ride Along 2,” and “Shaft” (2019.)
